Born wilhelmina abu-andani popularly known as MIMI in the music industry was born in ghana to ghanaian parents jane abu  and richard abu andani.she did her primary and junior education in holy spirit junior secondary school. then senior secondary school  in aburi girls' secondary school as a science student then later to the university of cape-coast all in ghana.after university education she left the shores of Ghana to study languages in Spain in a university called universidad de alicante(Spanish) where she studied spanish,itallian and potuguese which is why she speaks very good spanish and can understand a little Italian and Portuguese.

her favourite food is riped plantain with spinach stew and she loves to surf the net for fun.her motto in life is "hard work doesnt break bones,you work hard you party hard,after all its your hard work"
her philosophy in life "life is what you make it so do life right"

MIMI featured on BIG BROTHER AFRICA  as Ghana's representative in the third season as the first lady to ever represent ghana and till date she still is.she was the 5th housemate to be evicted.MIMI started music right after her eviction with hit single titiled LEAVE ME ALONE. then followed TATTOO and DJ then an album she titiled MUSIC IN ME.her debute single did so well and earned her normination for DISCOVERY OF THE YEAR during GHANA MUSIC AWARDS 2010.though didnt pick the award she was again the only female in that category.but she recently won an award as the best female artiste of the year at the just ending joyfm nite with the stars.she has four beautiful videos to her credit and currently have released a new single SHAYO which is massively very impactive.she has performed all over africa due to her exposure on big brother and she has also embarked in lots of social projects as a way of giving back.she is currently working on another project.MIMI is only a year and a halve in the music industry.MIMI describes herself in four words: chemist,singer,designer,realist
